After the devastating, stressful, scary year that was 2020, we all deserve to kick back, relax and just have a bit of fun. Thankfully, the Nevada County Fair is back in town and provides the ideal family activity to enjoy. The fair will take place August 11th through the 15th at the Nevada County Fairground located at 11228 McCourtney Road, Grass Valley, California, and we plan on being there! We hope you all plan to come by and see us at the fair and enjoy old-fashioned fun the way we used to before 2020 ever came about. The fair’s theme this year seems aptly named “The Fair is Back in Town!” We can’t wait to see you there! Read on for more information about the Nevada County Fair:

There will also be community showcase arts, meaning you might see some cheerleading, dancing, twirling, just about anything is possible. If someone can do it, they can share it with the community at this fair as a registered showcase artist. That’s to say nothing of the many vendors that will be set up as well on the fairgrounds.
Motorsports Arena Events
Not only will there be exhibits, vendors and artisans galore at the Nevada County Fair, but there will also be competitive motorsport arena events, including Motocross Madness (featuring UTV & ATV Racing), All Star Monster Truck and Stock and Modified Rough Truck Racing and a Destruction Derby.
The Fair Slogan Says it All
This year’s fair theme or slogan, “The Fair is Back in Town!” is especially meaningful. It was submitted by the winner of this year’s slogan contest, Lisa Vaughan of Grass Valley. Her winning slogan is based on resiliency, optimism and inspiration, the coming together once again of a community. There were more than 150 entries in the 2021 slogan/theme contest, and we happen to love the winning theme and agree with it wholeheartedly!
